Description The topic is “Bleeding and Clotting in LVAD Patients: Walking the Tightrope.”
Objectives

1. Understand the incidence and associated morbidity of VAD-associated bleeding and thrombosis
2. Define what is known, and unknown about the pathophysiology of VAD-associated bleeding
3. Explore ongoing research into the prevention and treatment of VAD-associated bleeding, particularly GI bleeding
