Description The topic is When a Cardiologist Tries to Blame the Lungs: Right Ventricular Dysfunction in Systemic Sclerosis.
Objectives

1. Describe a clinical observation (and ultimately incorrect theory) that led us to investigate right ventricular loading conditions in systemic sclerosis
2. Discuss how contractile differences rather than unmeasured afterload accounted for our clinical observation
3. Appraise emerging data on the role of RV reserve measurements including potential diagnostic and prognostic implications
