Christine Louise Hemphill Jones, MD

Dr. Christine Hemphill joined MUSC Women's Heath of Kershaw as an obstetrician gynecologist in 2021. She received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina. She is a proud graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine and completed her residency training at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She sought additional training through a fellowship in Medical & Surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY at the Saint Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, Nebraska. She has been board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2015. Dr. Hemphill is an NFP-only OBGYN, which means she only utilizes natural family planning methods in her practice and does not prescribe contraceptives or perform sterilization procedures. She has special interests in minimally invasive surgery/robotic surgery, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pelvic adhesions/scarring, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and thyroid disease. She also offers micro-surgery for tubal sterilization reversals.
