Dana M. Szeles,

Biography
Dr. Dana Szeles is a clinical neuropsychologist at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Florida in 2015 with a focus on neuropsychology. She went on to complete her pre-doctoral clinical internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where she received specialized training in the assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive difficulties following severe brain trauma and stroke. Before joining the faculty in 2017, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Neurology at MUSC where she has addressed a wide range of referrals for memory problems due to stroke, neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, brain tumor, and many others.
Dr. Szeles' clinical interests remain heavily focused on the cognitive effects of stroke, epilepsy, and brain tumor, and identifying the earliest signs of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's.
