Biography
Dr. Scott Walton graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS degree in zoology. After attending the Medical University of South Carolina, he entered the U.S. Army and served for seven years as a flight surgeon and anesthesiologist. Following residency at MUSC, he finished his final tour with the U.S. Army and then entered private practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Dr. Walton returned to MUSC in 1998 and has since that time devoted his energy and attention to pediatric and cardiac anesthesia. He has served in many hospital leadership roles and is currently the Chief of Service for Anesthesiology at the VAMC Charleston.
