Katlyn Lois Baxter, DO

Dr. Katlyn Baxter is a pulmonary & critical care specialist who was born & raised in Columbus, OH and went to medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, followed by a fellowship in patient safety and quality improvement at the same institution. Following this, she completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and board eligible in critical care medicine.
She enjoys treating a variety of pulmonary diseases such as interstitial lung disease, asthma, sarcoidosis, pleural diseases and COPD. Procedural interests include diagnostic bronchoscopy including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and pleural effusion drainage (thoracentesis). Additionally has special interests & experience in patient safety, education and quality/process improvement.
