Meredith Holcomb, AuD, CCC-A, is an assistant professor and the clinical director of the MUSC cochlear implant program. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an AuD degree in 2006. Dr. Holcomb completed a graduate externship year at MUSC from 2005 to 2006 before joining as a faculty member. She has over 12 years of experience working with adult and pediatric cochlear implant patients. She is active in clinical research with pediatric audiology and cochlear implants.
Dr. Holcomb currently serves as Vice Chair of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance board of directors and President of the South Carolina Academy of Audiology. She is the SC representative on the ASHA audiology board and is a faculty member of the Institute for Cochlear Implant Training audiology course. She is a consultant for Advanced Bionics Corporation and currently serves on their audiology advisory council. She served on the audiology advisory board for Med El Corporation and Cochlear Corporation in the past.
