A bowl of soup

Sometimes life can get a little crazy, and finding the time to cook a meal can be hard. A quick meal choice is canned soup, which can be stored on hand for those very busy days. However, not all soups are created equal. A general rule of thumb is to stick with broth-based bean or meat soups, as they contain a significant source of protein which will keep you feeling fuller for longer. At first glance, one might think that the Progresso LIGHT Italian Style Meatball soup would be a good choice because it contains meat and it’s advertised as “light”; however, this is not the case. Some soups can be deceiving and may not provide a lot of protein even if meat is a main ingredient. A better alternative would be this Progresso Roasted Chicken and Vegetable soup, which will provide more protein and fewer calories so you can Eat This, Not That!
