More than 250 scientists at Hollings Cancer Center are working to better understand cancer and develop new ways to prevent, detect, and treat it. As part of South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health system, discoveries can move from research into clinical trials and patient care. The new cancer hospital will more than double cancer research space, creating more opportunities to bring promising treatments to patients across the state.
