South Carolina's first dedicated cancer hospital

The new MUSC cancer hospital will bring comprehensive cancer care, advanced treatments, and support together in one place.

By the Numbers

.

600k square feet of cancer care
100 patient beds
113 exam rooms
96 infusion chairs
14 operating rooms
24/7 urgent cancer care
over 1,200 parking spaces
2030 expected opening

Having my doctors, imaging, and pharmacy in one place will be so convenient. Not having to run around to different places takes so much of the stress out of getting the care I need.

Closer to the questions. Closer to the answers.

More than 250 scientists at Hollings Cancer Center are working to better understand cancer and develop new ways to prevent, detect, and treat it. As part of South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health system, discoveries can move from research into clinical trials and patient care. The new cancer hospital will more than double cancer research space, creating more opportunities to bring promising treatments to patients across the state.
