Coronavirus Updates & Hospital Visitor Policy

Post-Acute Provider Resources for COVID-19

MUSC Health would like to thank all of our post-acute partners for taking exceptional care of our patients every day, and most importantly during critical times like these. It is important that we remain connected throughout this crisis and share information as often as possible in an effort to ensure that we eliminate all barriers to success. With that in mind we have initiated a weekly call cadence and will begin posting links and other documents on this site that will reinforce our mutual connection and alignment towards goals. We encourage everyone to share information that may be considered for posting on this site. Please share that information as well as any questions you might have with Matthew Winer so he may triage them accordingly.

MUSC Health Status and Key Updates

MUSC Health is currently working under emergency operations in preparation for an increase in COVID-19 (+) patients. We are staffing a HEOC (Hospital Emergency Operations Center) weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can reach the HEOC by calling the main MUSC number 843-792-2300 and ask for the emergency operations center in 247 North Tower.

MUSC Virtual Urgent Care and COVID-19 Testing

MUSC Health Virtual Urgent Care is currently available and free to you, your employees, and patients (use the promo code COVID19). Patients who need specimen collection for possible respiratory illness or “COVID-19-like” symptom testing will provide testing samples at a drive-through MUSC Health respiratory specimen collection site located in the parking lot of the Citadel Mall campus, outside the MUSC Health West Ashley Medical Pavilion.
