Working Well Strategy for Wellbeing Assessment

The Strategy for Well-being online platform, designed and administered by the South Carolina Hospital Association’s Working Well Program, is an evidence-based assessment and implementation support tool that addresses the following nine dimensions of well-being:

  • Wellness Culture
  • Risk Assessment & Outreach
  • Nutrition & Food Environment
  • Physical Activity
  • Tobacco Cessation
  • Emotional & Mental Wellbeing
  • Financial Wellbeing
  • Incentives & Communications
  • Evaluation

Once you are registered and approved for access, participating organizations can login and complete the assessment with the ability to return and update throughout the Charleston Healthy Business Challenge to improve scores. Participants will have access to best practice resources to assist businesses and organizations in their efforts to create a culture of well-being. These resources provide a road map and examples of strategies to fit every type of work environment.

The Working Well platinum standards are considered evidence-based best practices in employee well-being by the latest research and leading experts in the field, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Enhancement Research Organization, American Heart Association, and other resources assessing effective workplace strategies that promote optimal health.
