2020 MUSC Health Spine Conference

MUSC Health Spine Symposium 2020

The Spine Center at MUSC Health will be hosting its biannual conference from April 17-18, 2020 at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Charleston, S.C.

Themed “The Past, Future, and Politics of Spine Care,” the conference will feature a variety of industry leaders highlighting topics such as:

  • Medicare for All
  • Surgery in a Government-Run Facility
  • Constraints on Spine Surgery Placed by Insurance Companies and Regulatory Bodies
  • The Invention Process: Bringing a New Idea to Life
  • SI Bone: Bringing a New Product to Market

The conference will also offer attendees updates on non-operative modalities, intraoperative monitoring and spinal cord stimulation. A panel on the opioid crisis is planned.
