MUSC Health Spine Symposium 2020
The Spine Center at MUSC Health is rescheduling its biannual conference to this fall (originally planned for this April.) The conference will still be held at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Charleston, SC. As soon as a new date is confirmed, we will update the website.
Themed “The Past, Future, and Politics of Spine Care,” the conference will feature a variety of industry leaders highlighting topics such as:
- Medicare for All
- Surgery in a Government-Run Facility
- Constraints on Spine Surgery Placed by Insurance Companies and Regulatory Bodies
- The Invention Process: Bringing a New Idea to Life
- SI Bone: Bringing a New Product to Market
The conference will also offer attendees updates on non-operative modalities, intraoperative monitoring and spinal cord stimulation. A panel on the opioid crisis is planned.
