Lisa is an exercise physiologist at the MUSC Weight Management Center. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master of Physical Education from San Diego State University.
She was certified by the American Council on Exercise as a fitness leader in 1994. Since 2006, she has been a certified personal trainer with a specialty in weight management, She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, 500 + hours (E-RYT-500+) and a master trainer for MUSC Wellness Center currently teaching yoga and spin. As an adjunct faculty member at the College of Charleston, she teaches sport & exercise psychology and yoga. She’s been helping people of all ages find the fun in fitness and wellness since the 1980s! In her free time, she loves to contra dance.
