Outside of Pharmacy

I enjoy spending time with son Saud on the beach, horseback riding, traveling, and reading. A fun fact about myself is that I started kickboxing classes this year, and now I am in love!

Why MUSC

There are multiple reasons of why I chose MUSC Health, first being the diverse patient population and the wide variety of mandatory as well as elective rotations in different specialties. The residency program here offers a challenging learning environment that grants residents a great degree of autonomy while having the support they need from their preceptors. In addition, MUSC is considered an academic medical center which facilitates having academic experiences, including teaching and precepting opportunities.

Outside of Pharmacy

I enjoy lounging on the beach, attending concerts and cultural events (pre-COVID!), practicing yoga, visiting art museums, and Zoom calls with my intersectional feminist book club. A fun fact about myself is that I love good food!

Why MUSC

The PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency provides residents with many opportunities to practice in ambulatory settings delivering advanced patient care. Unique learning experiences include telehealth, geriatric pharmacotherapy, and specialty pharmacy. I feel confident that this residency will prepare me for board certification and a career in ambulatory care pharmacy.
