Why MUSC

I'm doing a residency program at MUSC Health because I knew that it has a well-respected and robust drug information/MSUP program. After my interview for my PGY1 position in 2019, I felt confident that MUSC Health had many learning opportunities that I wanted to take advantage of. I believe that MUSC Health has a plethora of options for pharmacy residents in nearly every specialty. We are a large, academic medical center with a consistently high census, a significant regional hospital network, and national recognition in multiple specialty areas. Finally, there are opportunities for getting additional experience in academia and research through our Academician Preparation Program and our Research Certificate Program, both of which appealed to me as a prospective pharmacy resident during my P4 year.
