COVID-19 Testing Options Throughout South Carolina

COVID-19 test result turnaround times:

  • Patients should expect PCR test results within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Patients should expect rapid antigen test results within 12 hours.
  • If you have not received your results within this time frame, please email drivethruresults@musc.edu or call (843) 985-8888.

No referral is needed for testing, but appointments are required at some sites. Thank you for your continued patience as we work together to navigate this challenging time.

MUSC Health Testing Clinic Holiday Hours

MUSC Health testing clinics in the following locations will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2022 in observance of Memorial Day:

Charleston-Area COVID-19 Testing

62 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29403

Appointments are required at this location.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday.
Sunday testing is available at our airport location.  

Both drive-through and walk-through testing are available. Patients on foot should enter the lot via Bee Street. Cars should enter via Wescott Street.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday.
Sunday testing is available at our airport location.

Both drive-through and walk-through testing are available.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Note: This is a drive-through site. Patients remain in their vehicles while tested.

This site will be closed Sunday, April 17, in observance of Easter.
