Obtaining Your COVID-19 Test Results

If you had a COVID-19 test performed at an MUSC Health testing site, there are three ways to obtain your results. Results typically take 24 to 48 hours.

If you have an activated MUSC MyChart account, you can sign in and see your results on the Test Results tab.

If you do not have an MUSC MyChart account, you may call and leave a message or send an email to request your results as follows:

  • Call 843-985-8888. Please listen carefully to the prompts before making your selections, as these instructions may change.
    • Select the language at the first prompt.
      • 1 for English.
      • 2 for Spanish.
    • At the next prompt, select 1 if you have been tested by MUSC Health.
    • At the next prompt, make one of following selections:
      • Select 2 to request your test results.
      • Select 3 to request a copy of your results or a return-to-work note.
    • Finally, select 1 where you can leave a voicemail to request your results.
  • Email drivethruresults@musc.edu and include the following information in the body of the email.
    • Patient's name.
    • Patient's date of birth.
    • Phone number.
    • The date of testing.
    • The location of testing.

Please note that our COVID-19 help line (843-876-7227) cannot provide testing results.
