Description This video is part of the 28th Annual Frontiers in Pediatrics Conference held over the dates of December 5-7, 2025.
Objectives Define the principles of culinary medicine and its role in chronic disease prevention and management; Assess a patient’s culinary literacy and support realistic behavior change in the kitchen; Identify strategies for preparing meals that are nutritious, flavorful, and culturally appropriate; Explain the concept of a balanced plate and how to apply it in meal preparation and counseling; Perform basic cooking techniques that promote health, including plant-forward and whole-food preparation.
