Objectives Briefly review ICU Syndromes their origins, utility, and limitations using Sepsis and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome as examples; Introduce data-driven machine-learning approaches to reducing clinical heterogeneity among patients with ICU syndromes; Present Data-Driven models for diagnosis and sub-phenotype identification at Medical University of South Carolina
