This presentation will provide an update on the epidemiology and novel biomarkers of acute kidney injury.
Objectives
1. Discuss the need for better biomarkers of acute kidney injury (AKI)
2. Identify strategies for discovering and translating disease biomarkers.
3. Recognize the current clinical status of novel biomarkers of AKI.
