Description This video was part of the 2023 Neonatal Pharmacology Conference
Objectives Review the pathophysiology of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and current antiretroviral therapies (ART).
Assess the correlation of maternal viral load and additional factors associated with the risk of HIV transmission during pregnancy and lactation.
Communicate current global guidelines surrounding chest/breastfeeding for HIV-infected mothers.
