Objectives Explain the role of intestinal ultrasound in the diagnostic assessment and tight control monitoring strategy of patients with inflammatory bowel disease; Learn how intestinal ultrasound findings correlate with standard of care assessments in inflammatory bowel disease, including clinical, laboratory, endoscopic, and imaging data, to aid in the diagnosis and ongoing management of IBD with the potential to improve outcomes; Explore case studies and real-life scenarios that demonstrate the practical application of intestinal ultrasound in the management of IBD patients and discuss the status of intestinal ultrasound in the United States for mainstream use, including training and integration into many academic centers
