Description This video is part of the 2024 Neonatal Pharmacology Conference.
Objectives Examine the use of hydrocortisone in the very preterm population.
Recognize how hydrocortisone may impact adrenal insufficiency, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and survival in extremely low birth weight infants.
Recall the evidence for PREMILOC (Early Low-Dose Hydrocortisone to Improve Survival without Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia in Extremely Preterm Infants) and its dosing for extremely low birth weight infants.
