Description This video is part of the Neonatal Pharmacology Conference.
Objectives Describe the goals of pharmacologic management at the end of life in the neonatal population.
Explain the indications, mechanisms, and potential side effects of commonly used medications for symptom relief in dying neonates.
Compare pharmacologic options for managing key symptoms such as pain, dyspnea, agitation, and secretions at end of life.
Discuss considerations for medication administration routes in neonates receiving end-of-life care.
Identify opportunities to integrate pharmacologic interventions into individualized palliative care plans in the NICU setting.
