Why did you choose MUSC?

I chose MUSC for my pediatric residency because I knew it would provide me with exceptional training in a variety of specialties to prepare me for my future career. As a stand alone children's hospital, Shawn Jenkins has a wide range of learning opportunities in my area's of interest. During my interview, it was clear to me that the pharmacists at this program supported their residents while also providing a high level of preceptorship and fostering independence. I was so excited for the opportunity to have two other coresidents as well, in addition to an overall large residency class. With such a beautiful and historic location, the opportunity to move to Charleston really tied everything together for me!
