Why did you choose MUSC?

As I researched different residency programs, it was obvious to me that MUSC Health has a well-established psychiatric pharmacy residency program that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities in the inpatient setting. This certainly piqued my interest in the program. However, the thing that really drew me to MUSC was the amazing residency program director and highly qualified preceptors. All have received their board certification in psychiatry, and each offers a wealth of knowledge! My experience with the people has been most rewarding!

Why did you choose MUSC?

I chose MUSC because I wanted to train at an institution with a well-established psychiatric pharmacy practice and a wide breadth of rotational experiences available to residents that would allow me to explore all of my interests. I felt confident that the preceptors at MUSC would prepare me well for a career as a clinical leader in psychiatric pharmacy through their progressive practice approach and supportive culture.
