Assessment of Naloxone Prescribing Patterns Before and After the Introduction of South Carolina Law Requiring Naloxone to be Offered to Patients at Increased Risk of Opioid Overdose

Why did you choose MUSC?

I learned so much during my PGY1 at MUSC and was excited to continue my education with the great team of psychiatric pharmacists at the Institute of Psychiatry. It was important for me to feel like my education was a priority and that I was truly a part of the team, which I knew would be the case at MUSC.

Comparison of Weight-Based Valproic Acid Dosing in Treatment of Mental Illness Among Obese and Non-Obese Patients

Why did you choose MUSC?

It was important to me to train at an institution with a strong psychiatric pharmacy practice and emphasis on transitions of care, and I knew MUSC would grant me the knowledge and skills necessary to properly care for a vulnerable psychiatric population. I also couldn't turn down the opportunity to learn from six BCPP-certified psychiatric pharmacists under one roof!
