The Women Against Diabetes through Empowerment (WADE) program is a year-long, community-focused health initiative. Led by MUSC in partnership with Fetter Health Care Network, WADE is designed to support women in the Lowcountry who are at risk for or currently living with diabetes.
Whether you have prediabetes, Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, or a family history of diabetes, WADE offers the support and tools to help you take control of your health.
WADE is open to women aged 18 and older who have one or more of the following:
