About MUSC Health - Orangeburg

First established as a private hospital in 1919, Regional Medical Center (RMC) has grown into a regional health care system with a 286-bed acute care hospital and 22 medical practices-seven primary care practices and 15 specialty practices. The hospital currently has 89 providers, over 1,400 employees, and 25 volunteers.

A Full-Service Health Care System 

RMC health care system includes seven Primary Care practices in Orangeburg, Calhoun, and Bamberg counties; one Urgent Care practice with a physician, lab, and X-Ray; Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center; specialty practices in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Pathways to Behavioral Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Internal Medicine and five HEALTHPLEX Wellness and Fitness Centers.
