Why MUSC? “After completing my education through MUSC, I preferred to stay in Charleston due to the wide variety of specialties offered here, due to MUSC being a large academic institution. I knew this would give me the opportunity to really see a wide range of disease states and offer the potential to be a well-rounded pharmacist. Additionally, MUSC offers one of the few pharmacotherapy residency programs in the country, which really allows me to cater the program to my specific interests. My second year of residency was able to be primarily oncology focused which aligns with my passion for that field and career aspirations.”
