Thank you for considering MUSC Health for your donation!  We are truly grateful to the many community members, groups, and organizations who provide continuing support and contributions. Your donations – whether on holidays or any time of year – help us make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. 

To ensure that our office will be able to accept your donated items, please review all information below.

Donation Instructions

Appointments are highly recommended for donation drop-offs. Drop-off availability window is Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donation Guidelines

  1. Please do not gift-wrap donated items
  2. Items should be respectful of all religions, cultures, and belief systems
  3. For handmade donations, please wash the fabric in hypoallergenic detergent. Must be made in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. For infection control purposes, please store completed items in an unscented, plastic, sealable bag until you are ready to deliver your donation.

Class/Group Service Projects

  • No-Sew Fleece Blankets
  • Care Packages (travel-sized toiletries, snacks/candy, activity books/puzzles, cozy socks, hair care items, journals/writing pad, headphones, gift cards, etc.)
  • Handmade Encouragement Cards (Stay Positive, You Rock, You're One Tough Cookie, Sending Well Wishes, Cheering for You, Holiday Greetings, etc.)
  • Pre-assembled Craft Kits that include instructions & materials in ziplocked bags (rock painting, embroidery floss/friendship bracelet, tic-tac-toe set, origami/wishing stars, paint-by-number, cross stitch, mini macramé, block/Lego kits, puzzles, slime kits, model magic/ Play-Doh tutorials, manicure kits, etc.)
  • Plan a fundraiser or donation drive

Blankets made for babies and children can be sized to 30” x 36” and for adult population can be sized to 44” x 60”
