Dentists at MUSC's Dental Faculty Practice provide general and specialty dental care. Each licensed provider has extensive clinical experience. They also are faculty members of the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, current on innovations in dentistry, and responsible for educating future dentists. In addition, all specialists have completed postgraduate training.

Your first visit starts with a conversation with your dentist. Together, you will review your medical and dental history, prior care, medications, and allergies. Your first visit will also include an oral exam and radiographs.
Your dentist will recommend a treatment plan to maintain or restore your optimal oral health and achieve your desired cosmetic results.
Our aim is to provide all the care you need, under one roof.
Patients benefit from a wide range of treatments using advanced technologies. Common treatments include fillings, crowns, root canals, veneers, teeth whitening, orthodontic aligners and braces, treatments for gum disease, and dental implants.
Ready to say goodbye to temporary crowns? In select cases, 3D scanners allow for impressions to be made pain-free and without rubbery materials. In these cases, computer-designed, permanent crowns are fabricated in the same day that your impressions are completed.
