Kids stay at school. Parents don't have to leave work. MUSC provides children across South Carolina with general pediatric and behavioral health services conveniently at school through telehealth. School-based telehealth can be found in over 150 school districts across South Carolina.
After you enroll in the program, you can schedule an appointment through the school nurse, social worker or counselor. Students are seen virtually at school in a private space to ensure confidentiality.
You can make referrals for therapy and psychiatry by submitting the MUSC School-Based Therapy referral form.
Medicaid covers visits. Private insurance coverage varies, copays and deductibles apply.
