MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center is a 211-bed, all-private room facility. Lancaster Medical Center believes in the power of people to create great care — and are more than 120 physicians and care team members strong. We work hard every day to be a place of healing, caring, and connection for patients and families in the community we call home.

Lancaster Medical Center offers kidney transplant, robotic surgery, acute care, diagnostic services, women’s health, orthopaedic services, cardiac services, general and laparoscopic surgery, rehabilitation, emergency treatment, wound care, and more. Lancaster Medical Center is a Primary Stroke Center as designated by the Joint Commission. The Emergency Department has been recognized by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Medical Services for Children Program as a “Pediatric Ready” hospital. It is the fourth emergency department in the state to achieve this recognition.
