Courtney Rowley is the Dermatology Research Program Manager at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston and then completed her Master's in Health, Exercise, and Sport Science from the Citadel. Courtney worked in the basic science research field studying addiction, depression, and individual differences in MUSC's Neuroscience Department prior to transitioning into her current role in clinical research. She currently oversees approximately 50 clinical trials in varying stages from start up to close out. Courtney is responsible for recruiting and hiring all clinical research operations staff and directly manages the team. Her expertise extends to all aspects of research including budget and contract negotiations, regulatory and patient care. She also identifies new research opportunities and assesses the trials' financial and operational feasibility. From transplant and vascular surgery, pulmonary and critical care, to dermatology, Courtney has over ten years of experience in clinical research at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Madeline Richmond

Madeline Richmond joined the dermatology research team at the Medical University of South Carolina after graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Madeline is the lead clinical research coordinator for both pediatric and adult interventional clinical trials, with a specific focus on atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, and hidradenitis suppurativa. Madeline's interest in research stems from her previous clinical experience working in rural health clinics across the state of South Carolina. She is passionate about providing accessible, equitable, and quality health care. Go Tigers!
