Participate in a Study

Frequently Asked Questions

To participate in one of our studies or get more information, you can fill out the form on our Get Involved page or contact one of our research team members.

We recruit individuals with an array of skin conditions as young as six months old to adult.

We are located on the first floor of Rutledge Tower in the Children's Dermatology Clinic. You can park in the Ashley-Rutledge Tower parking garage, and we validate parking.

There is no cost for participating in a research study. Many studies provide compensation for your time, effort, and/or travel.

Insurance is not required to participate in our studies. Participation in research is a great resource for those who are uninsured or under insured, those having difficulty with medication coverage, or those transitioning between insurance coverages.

Our studies are each unique and have different timelines. Some studies are as short as 29 days, while others are open-ended. It is important to remember that your participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time.

Location

We are located on the first floor of Rutledge Tower in the Children's Dermatology Clinic.

Once you have parked in the Ashely-Rutledge parking garage, go down to the first floor and follow the signs directing you to Rutledge Tower. Begin walking towards Rutledge Avenue under the covered walkway. Walk past the valet parking attendant and drop off loop on your right and enter in the front doors of the building. Once inside, proceed down the first hallway. At the end of the hallway, you will see the Surgery and Blood Draw waiting room. Take a right and proceed down the next hallway where you will veer left past Radiology on your right. You will begin seeing signs pointing you towards "Children's Dermatology." Make a right at the end of the next hallway that dead ends at the snack cantina. You will see our receptionist on your left and you will check-in with her and wait in our waiting area for a coordinator to come and get you!
