Why did you choose MUSC?

MUSC offers a wide variety of rotations regardless of what field you want to go into! For infectious diseases, we have multiple consult services including transplant and pediatric ID, a robust antimicrobial stewardship program that offers coverage locally as well as across the health system, an NTM clinic, and an incredible relationship with the microbiology department. An ID PGY2 here exposes residents to unique opportunities including daily rounding with the micro lab, the opportunity to create institutional antibiograms and clinical protocols, a relationship with the MUSC College of Pharmacy, and a LOT of opportunities for research exposure. The ID group at MUSC is very pharmacy forward and welcoming of all learners, the people are truly the best part of this program!
