Patient & Family Liaison

Patient and Family Liaisons are available to offer assistance to patients and their families who have questions, concerns, suggestions, or complaints about care or services provided by MUSC Health.

Patients are always encouraged to try to resolve issues directly with the care provider involved, but when that is not possible or is not successful, the Patient and Family Liaison Program can offer assistance.

Care providers may choose to refer individuals to the Patient Family Liaison Program when they know of a concern or complaint that is beyond the scope in which they can affect a resolution.

If you would like to comment on your experience as a patient at an MUSC Health facility, you are encouraged to contact the MUSC Health Patient and Family Liaison Program at

During business hours, or, complete the online form below. You may also email us directly at ptfamlia@musc.edu.

Please note that responses to written comments may take up to three business days. After business hours, ask your nurse or nursing manager on the nursing unit to contact the house supervisor.
