Aaron Brown, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS

Aaron Brown is a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer at MUSC Health. Aaron grew up in Charleston, SC. He attended Wando High School, and then continued his academic career at Erskine College, attaining a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Following undergrad, Aaron moved to Bainbridge, GA where he served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Bainbridge High School. While operating under the umbrella of sports medicine, Aaron decided that he wanted to further his education in Physical Therapy.

He and his wife, Amelia, moved to Charleston, SC in 2018 to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at MUSC. During this time, Aaron joined the MUSC Health Sports Medicine team, providing athletic training coverage for College of Charleston club sports, local high school sporting events, the Capital One Open, and AAU travel tournaments.

Aaron has helped to provide care for many athletes ranging from middles schoolers to NBA, NFL, MLB, and the likes. Among the high performing athletes that Aaron has worked with, he has also helped provide services for special ops and Special Forces personnel.

In addition to his medical background, Aaron played basketball at Wando High School, and is also a former collegiate basketball player for Erskine College. Aaron is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an EXOS Performance Specialist.

In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing pickup basketball, boating, backpacking, sports performance training, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and rescue pit bull "Elba."
