Aaron Galpert, MS, ATC

Aaron Galpert is currently the Head Athletic Trainer for Northwood Academy. Aaron received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron, in Ohio, and reminded there at the first Graduate Assistant in Sports Medicine and received his MS in Sports Medicine. After graduation, Aaron worked for 7 years in professional soccer and went on to serve as the athletic trainer for the US Men’s national team, the US Olympic team, the US U-17 and U-14 national teams. Aron also served as the athletic trainer for the US Paralympic soccer team. In addition to his clinical duties in the Sports Rehabilitation Department, at Akron Children’s Hospital, Aaron serves as outreach supervisor for the athletic training program. He also traveled with the Harlem Globetrotters for one season. Recently Aaron received awards from the National Athletic Trainers Association, the University of Akron Alumni Association and most recently has been inducted into the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame Class of 2019. After his retirement from Akron Children’s Hospital, Aaron and his wife Sandy relocated to Summerville where he lives today. He is certified by both the NATA and DHEC as an athletic trainer.
