Head Athletic Trainer

Alecia Good is the Head Athletic Trainer at Pinewood Preparatory School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University. She then received a Master of Education in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia. After graduating, Alecia moved to Colorado where she worked as a Clinical Athletic Trainer at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine. While in Boulder, she started a high school knee injury prevention program, managed sports medicine providers for a youth football program, and covered a variety of teams including the US Women's Soccer Team and the Colorado Rapids Reserve soccer team. After six years out west, her family was relocated to Virginia where Alecia worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative and taught classes at Lynchburg College. In 2010, Alecia and her family relocated to Summerville. She held a variety of positions including adjunct professor at Charleston Southern University and personal trainer at the Summerville YMCA before starting at Pinewood Prep in 2014. Alecia is certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. She is also certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support Instructor.
