Jacqui Gutierrez, MS, ATC

Jacqui joined the MUSC Health Sports Medicine team in December 2022 and is the Head Athletic Trainer for the South Carolina Stingrays, an East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) professional ice hockey team. Jacqui is the team's first female athletic trainer in franchise's 30-year history. A native of Boise Idaho, Gutierrez spent the last three seasons in Sioux City, Iowa as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL). At the conclusion of the 2022 season, Gutierrez became the first female athletic trainer to win the Clark Cup Championship in the USHL.

Prior to joining Sioux City, Gutierrez graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Master of Science in Athletic Training. She earned her undergraduate Bachelor's degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University.
