Marci McLeod, MS, SCAT, ATC

Marci is an Outreach Athletic Trainer for MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center. Her main role is providing Athletic Training Services to Camden High School. Marci earned her B.S. in Athletic Training at The Florida State University while serving as an Athletic Training Student with various Seminoles’ Athletic Teams and Tallahassee Community College Athletics. Marci made the move to South Carolina to continue her education at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in Charleston. While serving as a Resident Athletic Trainer on the Bulldog’s Sports Medicine Staff, Marci earned her a M.S. in Health, Exercise and Sport Science.

Marci was grateful for the opportunity to stay and serve in South Carolina, she continued her career as an Outreach Athletic Trainer for the Stratford High School Knights and then the Chapin High School Eagles. Marci has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2011, she also holds a Professional Teaching Certificate and has training in Functional Movement Systems, Cupping, Blood Flow Restriction, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.

In her free time, Marci enjoys volunteering with FoodShare and with United Way of Kershaw County. Marci resides in Camden with her fiancé and two fur babies. Her favorite activities include hiking the Palmetto Trail, river floats down the Saluda, and camping in the Upstate.
