Meet the MUSC Dietetic Interns of 2020/2021

Each year, a group of interns spend 10 months rotating through food service, community, and clinical nutrition settings in the Charleston area. MUSC has a long-standing successful internship, and even though this class has faced some unique challenges in the face of a global pandemic, they have maintained their motivation and have been eager to learn through virtual and hands-on experiences! They interact with patients and community members to learn nutrition and counseling skills, all under the wonderful guidance of their preceptors (MUSC Registered Dietitians). At the end of the program, they take an exam and become Registered Dietitian/Nutritionists! This year our interns come from all over the country including, California, Minnesota, Ohio, Maryland, Florida, South Carolina, Massachusetts and Georgia.
