NAC for Youth Cannabis Use Research Study

Treatment Research Study for Individuals 13 to 25

The purpose of this research study is to determine if the over-the-counter supplement N-acetylcysteine (NAC), when combined with weekly counseling, is effective in helping individuals (age 13-21) reduce their cannabis use. The study includes 16 visits over 6 months (initial assessment, weekly treatment visits for 12 weeks, and occasional visits for follow-up afterward). Each visit includes direct contact with a medical clinician. Compensation up to $740 is available.
