TV dinners seem to be a go-to option for dinner when we are on a crunch for time. When chosen correctly, this can be a great meal! It is important to know what to look for when choosing this quick and easy option. Some TV dinners are high in calories, saturated fats, and carbs, and low in protein. When choosing a TV dinner, look for a “lighter” frozen dinner that contains both protein and vegetables.Additionally, choose options with brown rice or whole grains when possible. Looking for these components will help you maintain a calorie controlled diet on the go, without sacrificing key nutrients!
