At MUSC Health’s Evelyn Trammell Institute for Voice and Swallowing (ETIVS), we specialize in caring for conditions that affect the voice, upper airway, and swallowing. As the first and only center of its kind in South Carolina, we’re proud to offer expert, compassionate care for both adults and children.

The Evelyn Trammell Institute for Voice & Swallowing is the first and only SC center to provide comprehensive care of voice, airway & swallowing concerns.
Teaching & Education
MUSC Health ENT is committed to growing public awareness of voice and swallowing disorders through teaching and education. Clinical research is a vital component of the ETIVS and includes the study of novel diagnostics and therapeutics for complex swallowing disorders and complex airway and voice disorders.
