Health Disparities Education

In order to expose students early in their training to the nuances of providing patient care to a population with diverse and ever-changing health care needs, the CARES Team has developed an ongoing lecture series. CARES Health Disparities Education is a series of quick talks highlighting different topics related to health disparity's impact on healthcare. Themes range from advocacy for structural change to addressing health disparities within everyday patient encounters. We hope to give students the tools to address health disparity's impact on their future patients.
