CARES Volunteer Opportunities

Medical Clinic Opportunities

Interested in volunteering? We're looking for undergraduate, medical, pharmacy, and PA students, as well as physicians and residents to join us. Follow the instructions below to sign up.

For Physicians & Residents

To sign up as a new volunteer with the CARES Clinic:

  1. Visit the CARES Clinic volunteer scheduling website.
  2. Click on "Create a New Registration."
  3. Fill out the online form to create your volunteer login. You will then be able to view the clinic schedule.
  4. Sign up for any date you wish by clicking on "PCT."

Physician Liason Nikhil Klukarni will contact you after registration to give you details about what to expect during your first night at the clinic.

MUSC Students

To sign up as a new volunteer with the CARES Clinic:

  1. Visit the CARES Clinic volunteer scheduling website.
  2. Click on "Create a New Registration."
  3. Fill out the online form to create your volunteer login. Your MUSC email is required.
  4. Register as one of the following:
    • Preclinical (First to second year student)
    • Clinical (Third to fourth year student)
    • Undergraduate student

Only registrations with an MUSC email address may be approved. Once your registration is approved, you will have access to sign up on the clinic calendar.
