St. Stephen Clinic

CARES volunteers with the St. Stephens Clinic

Since 2018, Lowcountry Food Bank, St. Stephen middle school, and CARES clinic have worked together to provide healthy food as well as healthcare services for the Saint Stephen’s community including dental screenings, blood pressure readings, blood sugar checks, dietary counseling, and flu shots. While the clinic services have temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CARES clinic has been able to maintain its partnership with the Lowcountry Food Bank to offer fresh free foods as a drive-through service to the St. Stephen’s community at the St. Stephen Middle School from 10 AM to 12 PM on a Saturday every other month. Beginning in July 2021, CARES clinic will expand services in St Stephen to include health screenings and preventive healthcare measures while continuing to address food insecurity in the community through our connections with Lowcountry Food Bank and Healthy Me Healthy SC.
