CARES volunteers with the St. Stephens Clinic

Since 2018, Lowcountry Food Bank, St. Stephen Middle School, and the CARES Clinic have worked together to address food insecurity and provide preventive healthcare services – including blood pressure readings, blood sugar checks, nutrition and dietary counseling, and free flu shots – for the St. Stephen community. Beginning in July 2021, CARES will expand services in St. Stephen to include pediatric preventive vaccines and school sports physicals (by appointments) while continuing to address food insecurity in the community through our connections with Lowcountry Food Bank and Healthy Me Healthy SC.
