If you are experiencing an urgent need or are suffering from severe pain, we are typically able to schedule a visit with a Spine Center Advanced Practice Provider (APP) within 24 hours at nearly any of our clinic locations. Below is a complete list of which APP is assigned to which surgeon.

Our large team of APPs are able to evaluate any patient with a spine issue and appropriately order tests, treat with medications and refer to the correct spine experts (surgical or non-surgical) as part of your treatment journey. This allows us to provide quick and convenient access to our patients. To schedule with an APP, please call any of our locations listed on the left hand navigation bar and request to be scheduled for the next available appointment with a Spine Center APP.

Throughout your MUSC Health journey for spine care, you will engage with a variety of our multidisciplinary team of experts to ensure the best possible outcomes for your spine needs. As part of an academic medical center, we stay current on the latest, most effective diagnostic and treatment options. Through research and clinical trials, we are also working to invent or improve techniques and devices that make complicated surgeries safer.
